Sebastian Bach del 1987 per ARCHIV, Sir John Eliot Gardiner ha realizzato per Deutsche Grammophon una nuova incisione dal vivo di questo capolavoro alla guida dei suoi ensemble, il Monteverdi Choir e gli English Baroque Soloists, presso l’Academy of St. Martin in the Fields a Londra in due sere nel dicembre 2022 definite dal Times “un trionfo assoluto”.
